Statia Summer Fest July 2007
The annual Statia Summer Fest which many have been waiting for commenced on Thursday July 19 at the Lions Den. Activities for 2007 include a Junior Queen Pageant, Local Talent Extravaganza, Senior Queen Pageant, Calypso Night, International Creole Night and several parades among other things. The last jump-up for Statia Summer Fest and the "Burning of Prince Stupid" are scheduled for Monday July 30. Statia Summer Fest has thus far attracted a large crowd. Several colourful troups from the island and from St. Kitts, St. Maarten and Saba have made this event once again a memorable one.Click on the collage of pictures below to see an enlarged version (will pop-up in a new window).

This years summer fest was good, but i expect for next year we go all out with it. with the karnaval groops and also bring the adiance into the fun of statia summer fest july 2@@8. Im looking forward to it!
